Sharlene Buszka

Dr. Sharlene Buszka is an associate professor of business administration at Daemen College and faculty advisor for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) student chapter, which has been cited by the Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association (BNHRA) as a model for other local college chapters. She is also a member of the Core Review Committee and faculty advisor for CRU, an active Christian student group.

Buszka, who holds senior professional in human resources certification, is a member of SHRM and BNHRA, for which she also serves on the organization’s Diversity Subcommittee.

She earned both an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University at Buffalo, and recently completed her doctorate at Oxford Graduate School in Dayton, Tenn. Her dissertation was entitled, “Factors Affecting the Integration of Faith and Spirituality in the College Workplace.”

Outside of Daemen, Buszka serves on the Buffalo City Mission Board of Directors, enjoys bike riding and working out at Buffalo Athletic Club, and loves her newest role as grandmother to twins Penelope and Eloise.
