Daemen University animation students were recognized for their student-animated short films in the 47th annual Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television across all screens.
Eleven Daemen students won awards for their animated short films. Their entries were among nearly 14,000 received from creators in five continents and all 50 states, which were judged by 250 industry professionals.

“The Telly wins come on top of the Gold and Silver REMI awards that Daemen animation students won at the Worldfest Houston Film Festival in April,” said Mike Jones, associate professor of animation. “This is an awesome way to close out this year’s festivals for these students and Daemen.”
