Over 140 guests, including alums of Daemen University, Daemen College, and Rosary Hill College, gathered on campus Saturday, June 13, to celebrate Alumni Weekend.
President Gary A. Olson joined the class of 1952-1976 alums in Rosary Hall for a celebratory brunch Saturday morning, during which he discussed the institution’s five-year Comprehensive Campaign, Moving Forward, shared campus-wide updates, and outlined his vision for continued growth.
Student-led campus tours enabled alums to reminisce about their time at Daemen and witness first-hand how the campus has evolved since they graduated.
The sisters of Delta Phi Mu held a special gathering, including a champagne toast, in the Yurtchuk Student Center. Mind:Full, the art exhibit of alumni artist Katherine (Brooks) Arcara ’11 opened in the Nancy Haberman Gacioch Center for Visual & Performing Arts Tower Gallery and will be on display throughout the summer.
Alumni Weekend festivities culminated with a party in Saffrin Public Square for alums, family, faculty, and staff Saturday evening, featuring live music by Dan Erickson ’07, caricatures by Lucas Santos ’19, lawn games, food, and refreshments.

“We are excited to welcome generations of alumni back to campus to celebrate, reconnect, and reminisce,” said Kate Hammer ‘06, senior associate vice president for advancement. “To see so many familiar faces relive memories from their time here, share updates on their current lives, and reflect on Daemen’s life-long impact is truly special.”
