Daemen University’s All High Art Exhibition opened on Saturday, February 7 at the Tower Gallery in the Nancy Haberman Gacioch Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, during which multiple Daemen scholarships were awarded to high school students whose artwork was on display. Several students standing in front of artwork hung on the wall holding certificates in their hands.

The exhibition, juried by Daemen’s Visual and Performing Arts faculty, welcomed submissions from students across Western New York, including Lewiston and Letchworth, and from as far away as Long Island.

“This exhibit is our biggest recruitment event,” said Noah Herman, visiting assistant professor and Tower Gallery director. “I understand first-hand how impressionable it can be for students. I participated in All High in 2014 when I was a high school student, and it turned something I liked as a hobby into a profession in my mind. I hope it has the same impact on these talented artists.”

The show will be on display until February 25.
