Daemen University launched its 10th annual Daemen Day of Giving today to celebrate the institution’s longstanding tradition of excellence, highlight its impact, and expand access to academic opportunities for future generations.
The 24-hour fundraiser, which kicked off at midnight, invites Daemen alums, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the university to “Make a Daemen difference” by supporting various programs, including the president’s excellence fund, athletics, student scholarships, and more. Several generous donors have stepped forward with leadership gifts to inspire “power hour” donations for targeted initiatives.
“Daemen Day of Giving is the perfect day for us to all come together to celebrate our legacy as we look forward to our future,” said Kate Hammer, senior associate vice president for advancement. “Daemen has made a vast impact across generations, and we are grateful to the ongoing generosity of our supporters to ensure the continued success of the university and its graduates.”
