Staff Profile – Michael Cooke

Mike Cooke standing in a black shirt and smilingMichael Cooke joined Daemen College in 2019 as a technology support specialist. As part of the Help Desk team, he is the point of contact for event and classroom IT needs in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Cooke most recently served as media and special events technician at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where he managed and supported events across the campus and the city.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with concentrations in history and philosophy from UMass Lowell. He also studied music, playing French horn in multiple ensembles at the university and in the community.

Outside of Daemen, Cooke enjoys reading, gaming, spending time with his girlfriend, and playing fetch with their cat, Echo.
