Daemen College is offering several opportunities for students to learn about the college and its undergraduate and graduate programs from the safety of their own homes at several virtual events scheduled throughout May.
“Although students are unable to visit campus in person right now, these virtual events offer great options for students to learn about our exceptional academic majors and services, and engage with admissions representatives, faculty, and current students,” said Yolanda Morris, director of admissions events and special programs. “We are excited about connecting online with prospective high school, transfer, and graduate students, and we look forward to seeing them on campus in the near future.”
Upcoming virtual events include:
- May 6: Virtual MBA Info Session
Hosted by Daemen business faculty, students will learn more about the college’s flexible, hybrid MBA program, and have the chance to speak directly to faculty and admissions staff. - May 21: Virtual Special Education Info Session
At this session hosted by Daemen education faculty, students will get an overview on the college’s two graduate education programs, and faculty and admissions staff will also be on hand to answer any questions. - Weekdays at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.: Virtual Admissions Appointments
First-year, transfer, or graduate students may chat one-on-one with an admissions counselor in a virtual admissions appointment. - Wednesdays at 1 p.m.: Accepted First-Year Student Virtual Meet and Greet
Accepted students for fall 2020 are invited to this small group chat that will also include current students and Daemen admissions counselors. - Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 1 p.m.: Wildcat Virtual Info Session for Juniors
This session for high school juniors will give an overview on all that Daemen has to offer and explain the application process. - Tuesdays at 1 p.m.: Transfer Tuesday Virtual Info Sessions
Transfer students are invited to this session to learn about how to apply to Daemen, transfer credits, and scholarships. RN to BS program information will also be shared at this session. - Virtual Tours
Tour Daemen’s beautiful campus any time from the comfort of your home by taking a virtual tour of the college.
