Meredith Lang, assistant professor of chemistry at Daemen College, teaches general chemistry and also labs for bioorganic and organic chemistry.
Lang previously taught chemistry, physics, and advanced placement computer science at Bishop Timon St. Jude High School. She also has industry experience in pharmaceuticals.
She is a member of the American Chemical Society, Younger Chemists Committee, and the Western New York Computer Science Teachers Association.
Lang holds a master’s degree in synthetic organic chemistry and a bachelor’s degree in medicinal chemistry, both from the University at Buffalo. She plans to pursue an advanced degree in science education.
Outside of Daemen, Lang enjoys running and exploring new activities around Buffalo, and looks forward to getting married this summer.
