Nearly 200 veterans and their families attended the Inaugural Vets Expo at Daemen University on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the Yurtchuk Student Center.
The event was hosted by the Veteran Services Department as a way to connect veterans, active-duty military members, reservists, and their families with essential resources, services, and support crafted for their unique needs.
“We welcomed over 45 veteran service organizations and community partners to Daemen to provide veterans with easy access to educational information that will improve the quality of their lives as they move from serving our country to reintegrating into society,” said Robyn Swan, the assistant director of Veteran Services and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Members of the Patriot Guard were on hand to help those who attended the event navigate campus.
