One example of the innovative spirit of Daemen College students is the recently created Wildcat Radio. This student-run podcast has been wildly successful in engaging the Daemen community, and proved to be a vital resource for crisis communication. A special podcast has been recorded on Wildcat Media and Entertainment to circulate information and updates on the COVID-19 pandemic and the college’s response.
Questions submitted by the college community for the podcast were answered by Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for strategic initiatives, who is spearheading the college’s Emergency Response Team, and Dr. Michael Brogan, senior vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college. These campus leaders were able to address concerns and share the college leadership’s response to the ever-changing, national emergency.
