Daemen University and Erie 1 BOCES have entered into multiple articulation agreements to offer Erie 1 BOCES career and technical education (CTE) students academic credits toward Daemen’s criminal justice, health promotion, health, wellness, and fitness management, graphic design, and early childhood education programs.
“Erie 1 BOCES is proud to offer articulation agreements with Daemen University to give students the chance to earn college credits while still in high school, saving them time and money on their future education,” said Anedda Trautman, assistant superintendent of instructional services, Erie 1 BOCES. “This partnership creates seamless pathways into college programs, allowing students to build confidence and get a head start on their chosen careers.”
Dr. Lisa Rafalson, founding dean of the College of Health, Human Sciences, and Business, said, “We are constantly looking for cost-effective ways to help students pursue their degrees. Our partnership with Erie 1 BOCES enables students to advance their education goals across a variety of programs so they are prepared to go out and change the world.”
All Erie 1 BOCES students are eligible to receive a $2,000 scholarship annually for up to four years.
