Daemen College Chief of Staff Amanda Gross has announced that Sarah Porzucek has been named executive assistant in the Office of the President. She will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office as well as a range of special projects, initiatives, and events.

“I am delighted that Sarah will be joining our team,” said Gross. “She brings a great deal of valuable experience to the position.”

Porzucek comes to Daemen from Goldberg Segalla, LLP, where she most recently served as executive assistant to the managing partner and the C-Suite executives. She holds bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and history from the University of Rhode Island, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honors Society in Education.

“I look forward to joining the Daemen family and working with faculty and staff from throughout the campus,” said Porzucek.

She will start her new position on Feb. 25.
