Buffalo Business First presented an inaugural Excellence in Health Care Award to Dr. Michael Brogan, Daemen College senior vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, at an awards dinner held on March 28.
Brogan joined other honorees selected to receive 2019 Excellence in Health Care Awards, which recognize the top professionals in Western New York’s health care industry.
“We congratulate Dr. Brogan on receiving this well-deserved accolade and for being honored with such a prestigious group of health care leaders in our region,” said Daemen President Gary Olson. “A respected colleague at Daemen, Dr. Brogan’s excellence as a health care professional and educator is known nationally and he has been an exemplary mentor to countless students at our college.”
This year’s award recipients included administrators, physicians, nurses, board members, advocates, and researchers whose work has improved the health system in WNY hospitals, labs, clinics, nonprofits, and health facilities.
