The Daemen College community came together on Nov. 28 to kick off the holiday season with the third annual campus tree lighting ceremony that featured a new choreographed music light show.
The official lighting of a large pine tree located outside the college’s Wick Campus Center was done by Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for student affairs.
“This annual campus event is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season for those of all faiths in our Daemen family,” said Nayor.
This year’s event also included ornaments handed out to the first 100 attendees, and cookies, egg nog, and hot chocolate were served to celebrate the holidays as the semester comes to a close. The tree lighting ceremony is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs.
