Daemen University President Gary Olson and three trustees earned spots on the 2024 Buffalo Business First Power 250 List, the 12th annual ranking of the most influential leaders in Buffalo and Western New York.
“Over a year, some people stand out and some stand down,” said Donna Collins, editor of Buffalo Business First. “We take into consideration the parameters of a job, number of employees, community activities, length of time at a company and just the overall impact of a person’s personality.”
Also named to the list is the chairman of the Daemen University Board of Trustees, John Yurtchuk, as well as trustees Scott Bieler and Candace Johnson.
Several members of the university’s Community Advisory Board were also named, including A.J. Baynes, Congressman Brian Higgins, Thomas Quatroche Jr., Eric Reich, and Rocco Termini.
This year, Business First released a preview of the Power 250 List with people listed alphabetically and unranked. A complete ranking will be published in early March.
