Labor activist and artist Saro Lynch-Thomason recently brought her “West Virginia Mine Wars Show” to Daemen College, a unique performance that focused on the story of labor conflict from 1900 to 1921 in the West Virginia coal fields.

Joanne Angelo Moeller graduated from Rosary Hill College (now Daemen College) in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in music and went on to receive a master's degree in music education the following year from Columbia Teachers College.
