Campus Conversations to Focus on Building Community

In an ongoing initiative to enhance campus partnerships and community, Daemen College students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in campus climate conversations taking place this week.

“Creating Community: Campus Climate Conversations” will be facilitated by Matthew Solomon, a nationally known speaker, author, and consultant who specializes in communication and building relationships and partnerships.

The group conversations, which got underway Sept. 22, will run through Sept. 26. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to participate in one of this week’s upcoming discussions:

Monday, Sept. 23

  • 2:30 to 3:25 p.m. in the Wick Campus Center Alumni Lounge – open to students.
  • 3:35 to 4:30 p.m. in Alumni Lounge – open to students.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

  • 8-8:55 a.m. in Alumni Lounge – staff breakfast.
  • 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the Executive Dining Room in Rosary Hall – Cabinet members.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. in the Rosary Hall Parlor – student groups lunch.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

  • 8-8:55 a.m. in Alumni Lounge – staff breakfast.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. in the Rosary Hall Parlor – student groups lunch.

Thursday, Sept. 26

  • 8-8:55 a.m. in the Wick Center Executive Board Room – faculty breakfast.
