Men’s Basketball Game Time Set at Syracuse

Interior of Syracuse Basketball Area during a gameThe tip-off time for the men’s basketball exhibition game between Daemen College and Syracuse University has been set for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Wildcats will make their debut appearance at SU’s Dome, which seats more than 34,000 spectators for basketball.

Individual tickets will go on sale on Oct. 8, and will be available for purchase online (cuse.com/tickets), by phone (1-888-DOMETIX), and at the Dome Box Office located on campus at the Ensley Athletic Center.

Daemen Athletics, in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations, is pleased to announce a pre-game gathering for all Daemen fans at Sitrus on the Hill, located near SU’s Dome inside the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center at 801 University Ave. The gathering, which will feature a cash bar, will begin at 5 p.m. and it will include appearances by Daemen athletics director Traci Murphy and head men’s basketball coach Mike MacDonald.

The game at Syracuse is one of several high-profile events for the Daemen men’s basketball team this season. The Wildcats will also play an exhibition against the University at Buffalo on Oct. 24, marking the fifth straight season they have met the Division I Bulls.

The Wildcats will open the regular season with two games at the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in St. Joseph, Mo., including a meeting with defending Division II national champion Northwest Missouri State University on Nov. 1.

Daemen will also play its first-ever game at KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo on Nov. 23 when they play host to Wilmington University. Tickets for the game are available online at daemenwildcats.com/KeyBankTix  (use password “WILDCATS”) or by calling (716) 839-8385.
