The Buffalo Niagara Partnership—the region’s chamber of commerce and privately-funded economic development organization—has welcomed Daemen’s Tina Addison into its selective Leader Exchange program.
Addison joins a cohort of just a dozen local leaders who will meet together over the course of the next year.
“Everyone in the cohort comes from different backgrounds, industries and leadership philosophies,” said Addison, assistant director of graduate and transfer admissions at Daemen. “We have a lot to learn and teach each other that we can bring back to our respective teams.”
Facilitated by Lindsay Zajack—a human relations professional who has worked with PepsiCo; Eaton Corporation; Saab Sensis; and Ahern, Murphy & Associates—the program is designed to help leaders hone their management skills and strategies for navigating business and industry environments.
“The strength of the program will be in drawing on the diversity of experience levels in the group,” added Addison, who will graduate with an MBA from the college in December. “Everyone’s there to learn from each other and grow together.”
The BNP is comprised of hundreds of regional employers and major investors representing more than 250,000 people in the region.
In other news, Addison will soon appear in an episode of ABC’s Family Feud, which was taped over the summer. An airdate is forthcoming.
