It was a banner year for Daemen University at the 17th annual Buffalo International Film Festival (BIFF), where the Animation Program had 11 films screened – the largest number of films in the program’s history.
The film fest featured more than 150 films from 30 countries, which were played at theaters across the City of Buffalo from October 5-9.
Of the 15 films in the Saturday Morning Cartoons program, eight of the entries were senior films produced by 2023 animation graduates.
Daemen had three other senior films screened throughout the festival.
