Since earning a bachelor’s degree in social work from Daemen College, Roxanne Sorensen has focused her entire career in the area of geriatrics. She started as a social worker at area nursing homes and furthered her education with a master’s degree in counseling from Canisius College.
Sorensen went on to work at People, Inc., where she held positions in the areas of senior housing, case management, social adult day program, and marketing for the Senior Service Department. After a successful career at People, Inc., she opened a geriatric care management company.
