This plan represents the work of the entire Daemen community, and it outlines the college’s systematic plan for continued growth, innovation, and resiliency as we strengthen our reputation as a college of national distinction.

“The end of our current strategic plan presents an opportunity for both the celebration of accomplishments and evaluation for the future,” said Daemen College President Gary Olson. “Moving forward, A Shared Vision: Daemen’s Emerging National Distinction will guide the college through the next five years as we continue to solidify our national recognition as an institution of academic excellence.”

President Olson delivers message to Daemen Community on the unveiling of the new strategic plan

The creation of this new plan was a collaborative, community-wide effort that articulates Daemen’s bright future. The plan highlights five key areas of focus, including rigorous academics, outreach and service, campus life and climate, facilities and infrastructure, and fiscal stability. This guiding document was created with a framework for all focus areas to be reflective with an eye to global diversity, inclusion, systems (people, technology and innovation), and fiscal stewardship. This framework is woven into the five key areas of focus and are core values that spread across the entire plan.

The ambitious framework laid out by the previous strategic plan has given Daemen a strong foundation for success. The new plan builds on many milestones achieved over the last five years and looks to continue to elevate the college to new levels of excellence.
