Paul Marrano ‘80
Paul Marrano received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in marketing from Daemen College. In his senior year, he and several other students were honored with an award from the Cooperative Education Department. He was also a member and served as treasurer of Phi Beta Gamma, played on Daemen’s first men’s soccer team, and was on the flag football intramural team.
“My time at Daemen gave me a great education, great times, and great friends,” said Marrano. “The learning opportunities I had at Daemen have served me well in life, and I have many fond memories of my college years.”
After graduating, Marrano had sales career opportunities with the Continental Manufacturing Co., Hartz Mountain Corp., Folz Vending, and Perry’s Ice Cream. He also worked with his wife, Marti, on their business endeavor called Elizabeth’s Candies, which manufactured and distributed a large variety of candy products.
Marrano is currently distribution manager at Arctic Glacier Premium Ice for the Western New York area. He enjoys spending time with this family and participating in church and sports activities.
