Staff Profile – Allen Luxenberg

Allen LuxenbergAllen Luxenberg joined Daemen College in 2018 as branch campus technical support coordinator. In this role, he supports faculty, online students, and Brooklyn branch campus students with all their technical support needs, including mydaemen, hub.daemen.edu, and Blackboard, Chalk, and Wire platforms. He also provides technical support for uploading the special education edTPA portfolio to Pearson.

In addition to his role at Daemen, Luxenberg is a computer consultant for his company, Computer Doctors 911, and previously served as service delivery manager for Global Tech Solutions.

He attended the College of Staten Island and then became an EMT/911 dispatcher in the New York City Fire Department.

Outside of work, Luxenberg enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. He also likes to keep up with the latest technologies, travel, and is an avid gardener and is proud of having grown a 10-foot lemon tree from a seed.
