The Daemen University women’s basketball team lost to nationally-ranked Texas Woman’s University, 76-44, in the NCAA Division II quarterfinal game on Monday in St. Joseph, Missouri.
However, the loss doesn’t take away from the Wildcat’s standout season which includes a 23-8 record, regular season and ECC tournament championships, a fifth-straight appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship, and a second Elite Eight appearance in just four years.
