Daemen University will provide eclipse glasses so the campus community can safely enjoy the total solar eclipse experience on April 8, 2024.
The partial eclipse starts at 2:04 p.m. with the totality beginning at 3:18 p.m. and lasting nearly four minutes. You can safely look at the sun during an eclipse by wearing certified protective eyewear.
Eclipse glasses and a limited number of eclipse swag bags will be available on Wednesday, April 3 from 11-1 p.m. in the Social Room in the Yurtchuk Student Center.

The Amherst Campus will be closed on April 8, with all classes and events canceled.
