Danielle Johnston has joined Daemen College as an assistant professor of physician assistant studies.
A 2010 graduate of Daemen’s PA program, Johnston began her clinical career in rural family medicine. She served as a guest lecturer and adjunct faculty member to local physician assistant programs for several years before becoming the assistant clinical coordinator and a full-time lecturer in the Rochester Institute of Technology Physician Assistant Program.
Specializing in dermatology, Johnston continues to evaluate, treat, and educate patients. Her occupation allows her to continue advancing her medical knowledge and clinical skills, which she uses to enrich the education of physician assistant students.
Johnston is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Society of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants. She is past-president and a current board member-at-large of the Western New York Physician Assistant Association.
Johnston resides in Williamsville with her husband and two young daughters.
