Opening Planned for Graduate Studies Technology Center

Graduate Studies Technology Center SignThe Daemen College community is invited to attend the official opening on Feb. 1 for the college’s newly established Graduate Studies Technology Center (GSTC), a part of a major initiative to advance the college’s technology infrastructure for its growing graduate programs.

The celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. in the center located in Daemen’s Research and Information Commons (RIC). It will include a special presentation to honor State Senator Michael Ranzenhofer for his key role in obtaining $480,000 in funding for the college’s Graduate Studies Technology Initiative.

Speakers will include Daemen President Gary Olson; Senator Ranzenhofer; Dr. Michael Brogan, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college; Dr. Thomas Stewart, chair of the Daemen Board of Trustees; Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa; and Assemblyman Ray Walter.
