First-Ever Campus Rescue Squad to be Announced

Daemen College Rescue Squad The Daemen College community is invited to attend a press conference at 10 a.m. Jan. 22 in the Wick Campus Center’s Alumni Lounge to announce the establishment of the college’s first-ever campus rescue squad, an initiative that builds on Daemen’s distinction as a leader in health sciences education.

The student-run Daemen College Rescue Squad (DCRS), which will officially begin operation this week at the start of the spring semester, will provide emergency medical services to the campus community.

Speakers at the announcement will include Daemen President Gary Olson, Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for student affairs, and a representative from the student-run DCRS. Students involved in the newly formed rescue squad will also be in attendance.
