Previously, Riegel served as reviewer and assistant editor for the publication, and as a guest editor during the past year.

“I was fortunate to serve in my prior roles, and I look forward to working closely with the editorial team and the AILACTE Board to further strengthen the quality, reach, and impact of the journal,” said Riegel.

“Daemen faculty continue to strengthen the university’s scholarly profile across disciplines,” said Dr. Heather Stassen, founding dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education. “Caitlin’s dedication to innovation in education is a great example of that work, and we are incredibly proud of her contributions.”

The peer-reviewed journal publishes scholarly work that enhances the field for teacher education in independent liberal arts institutions.
