Every gift to Daemen College’s “Drive to 75” campaign, the college’s largest-ever fundraising initiative, will make a difference in helping us to achieve our $22 million goal.
One way to support the campaign and make a gift to Daemen is through a charitable bequest, which will have a lasting impact on Daemen and is one of the easiest and most flexible ways you can support the college. A bequest offers you the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy to Daemen, lessen the burden of taxes on your family, and may allow you to receive estate tax savings.
With the help of an attorney, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift to be made to Daemen College as part of your estate plan, or you can make a bequest using a beneficiary designation form.
You may leave a bequest to the college by including a bequest to Daemen in your will or revocable trust; designate Daemen as a full, partial, or as a contingent beneficiary of your retirement account (IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or pension); or name Daemen as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
