Dr. Lisa Rafalson, founding dean of the College of Health, Human Sciences, and Business, participated in the Institute for Nonprofit Practice’s (INP) Managing & Leading Change Alumni Panel on Nov. 19.
Rafalson, who graduated from the institute in May 2023, joined three other alumni panelists from local organizations to engage in an interactive discussion centered on navigating the challenges and opportunities of organizational change. Topics included managing human reactions, addressing power, equity, and accountability, motivating teams, and assessing opportunities to implement the start, stop, or scale framework.
“I was honored to be asked to participate in this panel and share some of my experiences in a leadership role with the current cohort of fellows,” said Rafalson. “The INP leadership development program was intensive and undoubtedly one of the best leadership programs I’ve attended.”
