Trustees, Alum Among Power 200 Women

Two members of the Daemen Board of Trustees were named on the Buffalo Business First Power 200 Women list of influential women in Western New York on August 17.

Candace Johnson, president and CEO of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, was ranked fifth on the list. JoAnn Falletta, music director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, was ranked ninth.

Alum Trina Burruss, Leadership & Innovation ‘06, president & CEO of United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, was ranked 29th.

Mary Wilson, life trustee and board chair of the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation and longtime friend and supporter of Daemen, was ranked fourth. 

“We are proud to work alongside these women who are exemplary leaders,” said John Yurtchuk, chairman of the Daemen Board of Trustees. “Their influence spans well beyond Western New York and their contributions continue to make a positive impact on countless communities.”
