Jocelyn Swick-Jemison

Jocelyn Swick-Jemison is a research and instruction librarian in the Daemen College Research and Information Commons. In addition to research assistance and library instruction classes, she is helping to create a searchable database of Daemen student theses that will be available to students on campus and researchers outside the college.

Prior to coming to Daemen, Swick-Jemison spent 13 years managing study databases for several large stage III clinical trials with the International Breast Cancer Study Group at Frontier Science and Technology Research Foundation in Amherst. These trials were mostly focused on adjuvant endocrine therapy for hormone receptor positive breast cancer.

Swick-Jemison earned a master’s of library science from the University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s degree in computer and information systems from SUNY Buffalo State.
