Daemen University recently celebrated 22 faculty who completed their Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) Effective Teaching Practices certification.
The year-long course, which was funded through a US Department of Education Title III grant, began in March 2024 and concluded in March 2025.
During the April 10 event, faculty received their course certificates and ACUE pins to mark their accomplishments.
“We’re incredibly thankful for the support of leadership in helping us communicate with and encourage course participants,” said Emma Shanley, Grant and Data Coordinator at Daemen. “It’s been a privilege to witness the hard work of our faculty, especially given other projects and workloads they managed throughout the year. This is definitely a win for our Title III grant and, ultimately, Daemen students, because these initiatives help make their college experience even better.”
