Sarah Porzucek
Sarah serves as Executive Assistant in the Office of the President. Let’s get to know her!
What inspired you to pursue your career? I have always had a passion for education, but knowing I am able to make a positive impact on others as well as the Daemen community is what has really driven and inspired me.
What two things might people NOT know about you? I was born and raised in Vermont (Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream >> Perry’s Ice Cream) and I’m a ‘retired’ elementary teacher.
In what ways have our students and the college community inspired you over the years? The Daemen family has been a bright light in my life and has truly inspired me to show up as my best self every day, and empower others to do the same!
What is something you’d like the college community to know about you personally or professionally? Personally: While I am pretty introverted, once I warm up, I do have quite the goofy/quirky side.
What is your greatest accomplishment last year and what do you hope to achieve in 2021? Like most, I think one of the greatest accomplishments of 2020, was just figuring out how to navigate and make it through 2020! In 2021 I’m looking forward to becoming a graduate of the Leadership and Innovation program here at Daemen!
