Four Daemen College students were honored for academic excellence by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Buffalo Chapter at the organization’s Education Night Dinner held April 19. The annual event recognizes outstanding junior, senior and graduate accounting students at local colleges and universities.
The NYSSCPA Award of Honor was presented to Daemen graduating senior Gino Cammilleri of Rochester and also to graduate student Elaina Dickinson of Batavia, and juniors Amanda Popovich of Tonawanda and Richard (Alex) Reid of Lockport each received the John T. Kennedy Memorial Award.
“We are deeply proud of our Daemen students for being selected for these special awards and applaud their exemplary academic achievements in the accounting program,” said Dr. Michele Flint, chairperson and associate professor of accounting.
