Dr. Ryan Boggs joined Daemen College this fall as an assistant professor of physical therapy. He most recently was a physical therapist and director of electrodiagnostics and clinical research at Advanced Care Physical Therapy in Niagara Falls.
His research focuses on the effect of compression, biophysical agents, and other physical therapy intervention on microcirculation and peripheral nervous tissue, especially in diabetics.
A certified vestibular rehabilitation specialist by the American Musculoskeletal Institute, Boggs is currently pursuing board certification in electrophysiologic physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
He earned a doctor of physical therapy and a bachelor’s degree in natural science with a minor in biology from Daemen, and is completing a doctorate in clinical electrophysiology from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
