Daemen University has appointed Paul Gorski as Director of Leadership Giving, effective Oct. 22. He will play a key role in establishing relationships with alumni and friends of the university for ongoing support of corporate sponsorships, scholarships, and donor-centered events, including the Scholarship Brunch and Daemen Scholarship Gala, among others.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Gorski has over 14 years’ experience in advancement, with expertise in managing major gift prospects, cultivating corporate sponsorships, and supporting scholarship programs. His background also includes capital campaign fundraising and strategic development initiatives.
“Paul brings a wealth of fundraising knowledge, experience, and influential connections that will significantly impact the future of institutional advancement,” said Kate Hammer, senior associate vice president for advancement. “We are excited to see how his vision will make its mark on advancement and contribute to the ongoing success of the institution.”

A native of Buffalo, Gorski is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, as well as a golfer, reader, and illustrator.
