Daemen Hall — which opened in 1949 as a theater studies building and has been used by a local non-profit since 1991 — is a modern space featuring walls donning images of life-size iconic campus scenes. It has been outfitted with state-of-the-art instructional technology to facilitate course offerings this fall, along with special events and guest lectures. It will also be used for receptions, creating additional gathering space for the Daemen community.

“Daemen Hall has been a staple on campus since 1949 when its doors opened,” said Daemen President Dr. Gary A. Olson. “I am delighted to be able to open this space back up to the Daemen community as a source of inspiration and unity for all to enjoy.”

Dr. Michael Brogan, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost, is chairing a committee to reenvision the renovation of additional spaces in Daemen Hall to best serve the Daemen community in the coming years.
