The committee, co-chaired by Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer, Timothy Balkin, and Chief of Staff, Joelle Carroll, includes nine additional steering members — Ryan Ackley, associate vice president for information management; Lisa Arida, associate vice president of business affairs & controller; Robert Mead-Colegrove, assistant dean for campus safety and operations; Michael Miranto, senior associate athletics director for communications and operations; Melissa Peterson, executive director, RIC and library services; Mark Poblocki, director of housing & residence life; Dr. Michael Ross, associate professor and chair/program director of the physical therapy department; Jay Wendland, professor of political science and department chair and vice president, Daemen University faculty senate; and Lori Zimpfer-Caccamise, director of facilities management and capital projects.

“It is critical for the university to implement robust strategic and master plans to continue our forward momentum,” said President Gary A. Olson. “The five-year master plan helps us to ensure that the university has the physical resources necessary to achieve the goals outlined in the 2025-2030 strategic plan that’s currently in development.”
