For the seventeenth consecutive year, Daemen University received national acclaim as a 2024-2025 College of Distinction for its commitment to exceptional education. The award reflects Daemen’s 
dedication to fostering hands-on learning, strong student-faculty relationships, an active campus community, and stellar student outcomes.
Daemen was recognized for excellence in undergraduate programs, including business, education, and nursing. In addition, the institution was honored for exceptional military support, equity and inclusion initiatives, and affordability.
Daemen was also lauded as an International College of Distinction, New York State College of Distinction, and Private School of Distinction.
“This recognition is a direct reflection of our faculty and staff’s dedication to excellence in education and ensuring every Daemen student thrives,” said President Gary A. Olson. “We are incredibly proud to be recognized once again as a College of Excellence.”
Unlike traditional ranking systems based on numerical data, Colleges of Distinction’s rigorous selection process involves extensive research and detailed interviews with the institutions, accepting only those that adhere to the Four Distinctions: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community, and Successful Outcomes.
