Daemen College student Stefan Foster has received a $500 scholarship from the Western New York Paralegal Association.

A Trustee Scholar, Foster is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies with a minor in composition and writing and is a member of the college’s Paralegal Club.

“We are proud to have Stefan selected for this well-deserved scholarship from the Western New York Paralegal Association,” said Margaret Phillips, director and assistant professor of paralegal studies. “He is an outstanding student, and I’m confident he will be exceptional leader in the legal field who will fight for justice for the underrepresented.”

In addition to the scholarship, Foster will receive a one-year membership in the WNYPA. Selection for the scholarship is based on academic excellence and enrollment in a paralegal studies program at a Western New York college or university.

Foster is a resident of Norwich.
