Dr. Sarah Whorley, assistant professor of biology at Daemen College, will be a featured speaker at a Western New York event for Pint of Science, an international festival that brings scientists to area pubs to talk about their research and expertise. Whorley’s science talk, “Effects of Human Activities on the Algae of Erie County Streams and Lakes,” will take place at 6:30 p.m. May 21 at Resurgence Brewery, 1250 Niagara St., Buffalo.
