President Gary Olson has once again been named to Buffalo Business First’s Power 250 list, an annual ranking of the most influential leaders in Western New York. This year, Olson is ranked No. 86, a move up from No. 100 on the previous list.
“The focus of the 2021 Power 250 showcases people who set the goal, communicated to all their factions and then led the charge for employees and clients to attain prosperity, security and success. Especially in this unimaginable year,” said Donna Collins, editor of Buffalo Business First.
Also named to the list was Daemen College Board of Trustees chair John Yurtchuk, as well as trustees Candace Johnson, Arthur Wingerter, Scott Friedman and emeritus trustee Peter Hunt.
Several members of the college’s Community Advisory Board were also named to the list: Thomas Quatroche Jr., Scott Bieler, A.J. Baynes, Donald Boswell, Eric Reich, Rocco Termini, and Matthew Enstice. Daemen alum Sr. Mary McCarrick was included on the list as well.
Buffalo Business First reporters and editors nominate individuals for the list, with rankings based on extensive research and in-house discussions. Overall, the list is composed of local leaders from a range of organizations and industries the selection committee believes will make a difference in 2021.
