Student Animation Work Recognized

Daemen University student-animated short films recently earned international recognition at the 46th annual Telly Awards. This marks the second year in a row that Daemen students were awarded 10 Tellys. 

Judged by more than 200 industry professionals, the Tellys honor TV commercials and programs; video and film productions; and online commercials, video, and films.

“These Telly Awards celebrate the hard work, dedication, and artistry of our amazing 2024 Animation graduates,” said Mike Jones, Associate Professor and Program Director of Animation at Daemen. “Their films continue to be a wonderful example of great animation and shows once again the high caliber of artwork created here at Daemen Animation.”

The Telly Awards received over 13,000 entries from around the world.
