Over 50 Daemen faculty and staff participated in the 43rd annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge—the world’s largest corporate running event—on June 12 in Delaware Park to support FeedMore WNY.
More than 7,700 participants from 250 companies across Western New York took part in the 3.5-mile / 5.6-kilometer race, during which they bonded with colleagues, celebrating teamwork, camaraderie, and a great cause.
Dr. Amy Trabert, BSW Director and Assistant Professor of Social Work and Sociology, was a top female finisher, recording a time of 21:42.
“The Corporate Challenge was a wonderful opportunity for Daemen University colleagues to get outside, get active and connect with one another all while supporting FeedMore WNY in the fight against hunger supporting our local community,” said Patty Puglia, Associate Vice President for Employee Engagement.
