Julia Grygier joined Daemen College in September as coordinator for student organizations and Greek life. In this role, she oversees student clubs and organizations and the Daemen Inter-Greek Alliance and Student Government Association, as well as many student events.
Grygier earned a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs administration from SUNY Buffalo State, where she served as events and reservations manager for the Campbell Student Union. She also received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and creative writing from SUNY Geneseo.
As a graduate student, Grygier interned at the University at Buffalo, SUNY Geneseo, and Stanford University, which included working in student activities, residence life, leadership programming, and orientation.
In her free time, Grygier works as a freelance watercolor illustrator and has been featured in several galleries throughout Western New York. She also enjoys live music and travels every summer to serve as the lead administrative assistant for the Bunbury and Bellwether music festivals in Ohio.
