F. Paul Muccigrosso II, MSW, MBA serves as director of the Veteran Services Department at Daemen College. He is a decorated Veteran of the U.S. Navy and, most recently, he served as the program director for Medaille College’s Community Education Program at Albion Correctional Facility and as field educator for the UB School of Social Work before joining Daemen.
Muccigrosso’s clinical experience at the Veteran Administration Medical Center was as a trauma and crisis specialist. It was there that his team introduced new modalities of treatment and interventions for U.S. Veterans whose histories with PTSD and trauma were in need of advanced degrees of intensity and care.
He earned a Master of Social Work degree through the University at Buffalo and his Master of Business Administration degree through Medaille College, while his daughters are both graduates of Daemen College’s physician assistant program.
Muccigrosso is a board member of the non-profit mental health and trauma treatment facility, The Brain-Body Health Technology Institute, as well as a member of the Erie County Reentry Coalition, and the Greater Buffalo Racial Equity Roundtable.
Paul and his wife, Karen, live in Lancaster, N.Y. They are parents to two adult daughters and are proud grandparents, as well.
