Nineteen people and seven organizations were chosen from 60 nominations for championing diversity and inclusion. They will be honored at a virtual event on March 4.
Hamilton currently serves as the institution’s Chief Diversity Officer, is a member of the college’s senior leadership, and lead’s the college’s efforts to create and sustain a campus culture that embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. She leads in developing the vision for Daemen’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion and is also the Director of the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP).
“Tiffany’s passion is helping to create more equitable opportunities and experiences in education. Though she has only held the position of Chief Diversity Officer for less than a year, she has already demonstrated her ability to leverage existing relationships in support of the difficult work necessary to create a culture where not only students but the entire Daemen community can thrive and engage with enthusiasm,” said Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for strategic initiatives.
